I checked up the links you've given... but, unfortunately, none of them are credible resources to count on the authenticity...
Given the sensitive nature of information, unless such piece of information is published or given out by a credible source, it cannot be widely circulated as well..
With no questions on whether the information is correct or not, I'd rather pass it off as something frivolous, cos nobody owns it. And that's dangerous...

I feel its completely justified if an employee gets fired for fake experience /documents / consistent poor performance.
Its has more to do with HR policies, not security / insecurity of the company.
