My knowledge goes, KRA is Key Result Area, and KPI is Key performance index / indicator. With out KRA fixed at the beginning of the financial year, the KPI decided on the KRA .
For example you are fixing a KRA of 20% more profit to be achieved, and KPI could be 10% from the 'new customer' and another 10% from the 'existing customer'. Another example is, on cost reduction of 20% KRA fixed at the beginning of the year, out of which the performer KPI could be fixed 10% from existing supplier, and 10 from the new supplier.

Hi,
I am working in clothing company. My manager has told me to prepare KRA based performance appraisal form of retail merchandiser and Sales manager and told me to put KRA and KPI points in them of both the positions. I have never worked on this field. Apprisal form I have already prepared but I am struck with KRA and KPI points.
Need help.
Please tell me what all KRAs and KPIs points I can put in in Retail merchandiser and Sales Manager.

Hello Everyone,
I am working in a construction type company as an HR Executive, company has many site locations running all over India. My senior asked me to prepare KPI for site operation employees but i have no idea about this. in my opinion a technical person like site in charge or project head can only do this practice.
Can a HR set KPI for employees involved in construction work. if yes, then how, what are the factors involved in it.
