Dear Sir, We would like to bring to kind notice of all concerned that Contact Labour License /Registration is Applicable for engagement of 10 Labours in Gujarat. So, confirmation of Registration on engagement of 20 Labour is not correct.Even if required , Registration can be asked for less than 10 labours also. So it is advisable to contact the office of Registration Authority of that Area.

Clarifications given by Honoured members to Mr Nagarjun, whose Factory is located in Bangalore in Karnataka State.in Karnataka Employer has to obtain Registration under CLA Act if he is Employing 20 or more Contract Employees.Similarly, Contractor supplying 20 or more Employees has to obtain License under CLA Act.
What you have mentioned is as stated by you is for Gujarat only.Please upload Documents stating that in Gujarat CLA Act is applicable if 10 or more Employees are employed for information of all concerned
