HR is a vast canvas, a broad spectrum. I call my outfit as R2R HR because HR or IR starts with Recruitment and ends with Retirement ie R2R for you ! This R2R processes, problems, situations wanting quick remedies, fire-fighting situations arise depending upon the nature of business, location, composition of work force, their attitudes, the attitude of the owner or management. For instances the problems faced by HR / IR department in a Chemical manufacturing facility in a remote corner of Gujarat may vary from a Coal mining company located somewhere in Jarkhand ! HR Issues in an IT company or a BPO located in Gurgaon comprising well-educated, technical engineers may vastly differ from another similar company which has more customer interaction located in Pune. Why I am saying all these is that let your query be selective, subjective and specific to a particular industry ! This will enable us to respond to you more specifically instead of giving general generic issues and solutions thereof !
