It has an academic value and a bearing on management - union relations which is gradually being replaced by relations between individual employee and the mannagement as it is happening in the IT Sector in particular.

Whatever I have uploaded is the gist of the judgement as appeared in the Telegraph Metro on Wednesday , 20th January 2016. Hon'able Justice Ashok Kumar Dasadhikar of Calcutta High Court ruled " Employees of housing cooperatives are rendering personal services and are not emplyees of a commercial establishment. They are not covered under the Shops and Establishments Act and so do not have the right to form trade unions.".
