Dear Juilye,
Thanks for coming forward and sharing this information. You say that you have used graphology up to a certain extent for hiring in your company. Have you studied the benefits of inserting this method in your recruitment? Are these people better engaged than others? Is the level of their performance better?
From HR standpoint, business results are important. Share some information on the results and on what parameters did you measure them.
Thanks,
DVD
Dear All:
Graphology does indeed indicate the person's attitude and personality and yes many companies including fortune companies do use it for recruitment. However, it is more effective if used in combination of other recruitment methods also, not just as a stand alone way of recruitment.
I am saying so because I have studied Graphology under Mr. Milind Rajore (you can google him) an eminent graphologist and also used graphology up to a certain extend for hiring in my company...

Psychologists do make use of handwriting to assess a person's personality. This is just one of the tools which aids a person's understanding about other.May not be foolproof but helpful.

Hand-writing is an art but it gives others a good impression on the handwriting written beautifully with clarity to be read by others. But unfortunately, the hand-writing is becoming an outdated practice with one and all owing to the advent of computers. Therefore, it may not be prudent to assess anybody with hand-writing.nowadays.

Dear Friend,

You have just asked a question that too without telling the motive, On your question one of the contributor has given a very elaborate answer which covers many of Hindu beliefs to discard all the them, I don't know if he is having any real information or deep knowledge about all these things as when you have a mindset opinion about some thing you can't even see the positive side of that thing.

What is handwriting analysis what it can tell about the person. Friends handwriting analysis is a science and is proven scientifically that it shows some of the basic characteristics of the person, like clarity of thought, views, attitude of the person, but it can't tell you if the person will be result oriented or successful in some thing or not. It can just tell you basic traits of person and they are not enough to an decide the future of any person's working or efficiency. So you can't use it for any thing in HR. Handwriting reading is just like Numerology, Palmistry and Astrology and there are so many factors and the knowledge of person which decide the quality of results. But also you can't just discard all these as baseless and specially if you believe God exists all things too exists and most of these things have been proved and accepted by scientists.

Now Come to Yoga, see friends if one just does not like Yoga it won't reduce the value of yoga. Yoga is a scientific or most advanced form of physiotherapy and most or all of the positions of Yoga have there benefits and are proved medically.

Dear friends all these are the knowledge and gist of our past and have their own benefits Although you can't/should not use them for selection/promotion or removal of any employee. But as an Indian we must respect these being the knowledge/assets given to us by our forefathers.

Hi All
I think that you do not get the proper point about graphology. Its not about good handwriting or bad handwriting but it analyses the directions, angles, letter placement and other writing components. Based on these analyses, there may be certain info which may be derived. I am no graphologist and these come from the net. And I would like to point out that not everything on the net is reliable and this type of forum is a better platform for people to get proper info. I would therefore rather post my queries on this forum rather than query on the net. Sorry Mr. Supermoderator!!!
