No doubt this is working still it is very easy to find the password of the folder.
Right click on the batch file and click on "EDIT". Once again the notepad will open. Here you can easily find the line showing the password
if NOT %pass%=="your password" goto FAIL
So in nutshell it is still prone for an easy hacking.

but one thing i wanted to tell you
could you please think little more and help me
the folder is getting locked but we can able to delete the folder
could you please think nicely and make the folder not to be deleted if its locked

HI all,
This dint worked. followed the same procedure and created a folder and have given the password .when tried opening this from the other system which is on LAN through RUN then the folder is visible when kept under view hidden files .and my colleague is able to open the folder also.

I would like to add one thing
just right click the bat file and tick the hidden option, it will disappear.
now to get it back, just search that file from start menu and again right click the file and untick the hidden option it will appear its place.
Hope it will add more security
