I have read this thread with interest. Not many will view the situation from the same view point as yours. However, your concern for your team mates is laudable. Hope you will have opportunities to employ your ex-team mates who may be out of luck and not get fixed up.

On 22/11, you had written on your plan of sacrificing your job for the team members. On 3/12, you had posted that you entered with new the job contract. That means, you were in the process of switching over from your current job to another one much before. Otherwise, within a span of short period of 10 days, new job agreement would not have materialised unless you have much influence. So, I don't find any sacrice here and you just moved for better prospects.
