Dear Ankit,
Good to note that you have equipments to measure stress. I have come across many experts helping people and students to cope with stress in their lives and achieving significant improvements. I had earlier coordinated stress management workshops a couple of times for our staff.
There are lot of ppts available in this web site. I would like to hear from whether you have simple tools by which students or parents can check out their stress levels for themselves. Depending on the degree of severity they can decide to opt for expert intervention (your company). It would be nice if you can share a stress measuring tool and suggest coping mechanisms for mitigating high stress levels. If you can share and willing, it can benefit the whole community (particularly students).

Dear Sundar,

Our tool is very simple yet advanced.

Biofeedback instrument - NeXus 10 Mark II is one of the best tool to measure stress levels. The results are on the basis of:

1. HRV - Heart Rate Variability

2. GSR - Galvanic Skin Response

3. EEG

4. ECG

5. EMG

6. Brain Waves

7. Perspiration

Along with above applications, we have FFT technique.

We let candidate play Mind related games that can be played on the screen and it shows various signals along with the end result about your stress levels and other factors affecting your growth and efficiency.

All the above applications are simple. There are NO NEEDLES involved (I am sure many children are still afraid when it comes to inserting needles in their skin).

Everyone can visit Tranquil Minds and have a look at our biofeedback details Tranquil Minds <link updated to site home> ( Search On Cite | Search On Google )

Dear Ravi,
How are you?
I understand and truly believe that not all people claiming to be the trainers know the basics of training.
I agree with your point of view that showing off sometimes works for people but in reality, it bites back very quickly.
Let's just say that personality along with the knowledge and updated information are essential part of the training procedure. Without concrete fundamentals, trainer is equivalent to a trainee.
Thanks for pointing out another sensitive issue in terms of trainers.

Dear Fellow Members,
I am sure you all started on a positive note this year.
I request you to continue the discussion. It is imperative that responsible members of society should take such matters into limelight. Unfortunately, it is a trend that until and unless everyone unite, the goal seems out of reach at all times. We say our society is democratic but I guess its "cumulative democracy".
I hope to see many more people joining and discussing to find a concrete solution to such negative issues of society.

Dear Friends,
tranquil minds is organizing "Beyond Formal Education" on 15th February 2012. It is a discussion where head of Institutes. The discussion will begin at 2pm and end at 5pm. This discussion would help the Institutes to start working on the career aspects of the individual students rather just readying them to pass examination with flying colours. This will certainly be an advantage to Organizations HR while interviewing them for particular position in future.
I hope for the best!
