if any complete 4 years and 240 days they are eligible for gratuity and if they leave the organisation the employer has to pay the amount along with other settlement OR if they have tied with EDLI the employee will get the payment from LIC as per ACT within a month. Any death occurred during service, LIC will pay the amount to their nominee based on the service but min 1.62 lacs for death benefits
