Dear Shaina
Sorry for the belated reply. It was just missed from my eyesight.
Normally one should not issue any appointment letter to the Casual employee because the employee is engaged on casual basis and not on any specific period or on permanent nature. The casual job can be completed on the same day or it can be lasts for months.
If you are forced to issue some appointment letter to the casual employee you can specifically mention about the nature of job or time duration the casual employee is intended to engage. If you are not mentioning the details in specific then it can be treated as permanent employee appointment letter.
If such people are required to get employed then you can outsource the manpower which will reduce the legal complications.

Dear Shaina
Please visit the Factory Premises and have some interaction with the workers directly. They will surely give some tips about their work and the function of the Factory. With that you then discuss with the line managers and Shop Incharges and start preparing the Duties and Responsibilities of all the posts.
While going for factory visit please take notes of all the activities being carried out in the premises, so that you will not miss even a single worker or department.
Wish you all the best.
