Dear APM 16,

This is an intelligent query.. that if the person will report office late for 2 days and the same will be a continuous practice.

I feel that even a person who is very regular / really want to come to office in time may become late in the office because of some unavoidable circumstances / situations beyond his / her own control... say for example trafic jam...

In such case, a levearage of at least 3 days should be given to staff members. Secondly, you must have a satisfaction that you have improved the situation by restricting an employee to only 2 late commings from regular / habitual late commings. With the rule of deduction of salary for every 3 days of late in the office an employee will prefer to play safe and will not try to be late for 2 days every time because there may be a chance that due to some unavoidable circumstances he may become late third time and may face salary cut.
