even i did my MBA frm K.U.If you really interested in recruitment just get into IT Field as a Recruiter, since from 2 years am working as a recruiter.
But before that you should think of far future, i mean just think of once that how many years can you withstand in the market in this pace change of world as a recuiter.

Hi,
I was going thru the comments and suggestions and found one peculiar comment that any graduate can be a recruiter. Well to start with can a graduate not be a good software engg or a marketing professional. :D
The point is that a professional Degree or Diploma is no guarantee of success in that particular area. It takes three H i.e Head,Heart, and Hand to be successful. Harsha Bhogle the famous cricket commentator is a good e.g, he was an IIM Ahmadabad pass out and look where he is today.
So my friend if you have a will to take the challenge and interest in selling a position ( yeh recruitment/Resourcing is 70% selling ) and ability to interact with different people in a professional manner then there is no point why you should not do this.

Dear Vishwa

I think you are much concerned bout money than your career.

I think kalyan has done the core recruitment at all, as mentioned that he was working in a recruitment firm , i think he would have dealt with job portals for head hunting. let me tell you the facts in recruitment.

It requires real concentration to work in job portals, and you need to have much patience to work in portals, because you need to find out a perfect profile where in others can't find it.

It requires great knowledge and logical thiniking for it.

And ofcourse when it comes to interiviewing point then the real work starts, you need get the maximum out of the candidate, if he is a fresher then he will be a bit hesitant to talk then you hae make him feel comfortable and then have to get his maximum capabilities out.

And dealing with senior profiles is not an easy job too....that requires great toleraing capacity....you call them for interview they will say that they have some important meeting (ofcourse they will have) and you should not keep on calling them also...cos they will be in some work all the times....you will not beleive even though my office hrs finishes by 7.00 pm sometimes i have to wait till 9.30 pm or 10.00 pm to call the senior level peoples to speak with them and arrange for their interiview ok..

do keep all this in mind , when are deciding you career...and ofcourse HR is a very interesting job, wherein each requirement give you idea bout every different field....and when it comes to monetory part....your incentive sometimes can go double or triple the times your salary....but all that matters it smart working....

all the very best for your career

Dear Rupa!

i really thank for your kind response, which obviated me a lot. i do admit the fact that my message seems to be concerned with money rather than career... Now i appolize, i got failed to communicate exactly what i wanted to... Please go through it and give me your valuable suggestion

Most of the companies.. like Google, Dell, Oracle and other MNCs are offering the HR Executive / Associate positions for the people, who have at least one yr. of exprerience in to recruitement. Moreover now a days almost all the top Domestic Co.s looking forward / recruiting the HR experts who will have exposure in to recruitement. How far do you admit this statement. I'll give you a live instance.. Recently one of my friends has got an offer with HCL as an Executive - HR. She has about 8 months of experience into ITES Recruitement...Now she is planning for IBM.

So i am planning to start my career as an IT/ ITES recruiter then work for 1 yr. (hardly 2 yrs, if time doesnt permit) then down the line after 2 yrs. i may get an opportunity to see myself in Dell, Dellite or some where...

Please kindly reply and educate me and give a proper direction to fulfill my desire..
