Hi Aayushi,
thanks for showing interest,
in the sentence "He usually gets good grades."
proprety discription is done for the verb "gets grade" not for the noun which is "he" in the sentecne. So a word which describes properties of a verb is an Adverb.
Hope it'l help :icon1:

Beautiful presentation & keep it up. Waiting for a Wren & Martin written in simpler format. But Abstract Noun & Material Noun should be included.
I've been teaching English for last 20 years in a private manner. Definitely I'll be putting comments once I go thru it in detail. Good work done. I've just looked at it & found the above missing. I'll be posting comments. Excellent job. Keep sharing.

PPT was a nice one. Only there was a bit confusion about some little things. There are no 8 types of speech, but they are the parts of speech! Again, while giving the types of nouns, the collective nouns e.g. army, group etc were missing along with the abstract nouns like bravery, beauty etc. You can't give the types common nouns, proper nouns, singular nouns, plural nouns and irregular nouns under one head. The proper way is : Types of nouns: common, proper, collective and abstract.
Rest everything was fine.

Hi Shruti,
Thanks for ur interest,
This PPt was made in intention of recalling the basic of grammar for developers in our comany, so i may have skipped so many things considering the time boundation for short delivery of PPt.
But I m Really thankful for ur valuable suggestions, and for sure i will keep in mind for future.

Really a good one. Very useful as it exposes the rudimentary understanding of English grammar in a very absorbing way. I do hope every one gets the opportunity to see this. Thanks a heap.
