Mamta, you have hit the nail on the head by saying that "Work smart rather than work hard" . No matter how your style of working is if you are good you will be noticed. Your colleague may try to do all tricks to down you in front of boss , but after all the boss knows the truth. She/He knows what is the scenario and whom to call for in times of urgency. But that does not mean to turn a blind eye to office politics specially played by your colleagues.
