CiteHR deserves excellent appreciation for the presentations on this topically relevant subject because EI is the heart and soul of managerial success at all levels from top to bottom, in the present world. You can't achieve EI only through money / seling tricks.

many thanks for sharing the ppt on EI. Good work and will certainly be useful to many. Just few thoughts , shall we say emotions should not be bracketed as positive or negative, for example you have said sadness is negative, but it is natural and importat to feel sad over the lose of near and dear one, sad over non accomplisment of set goals etc, well the importace is to feel sad and get in touch with it and learn to cope with it, one needs to express that he is sad and the cause of it to sensitise the giver of this sadness.this will avoid future repetition and create the much wanted empathy.Thus getting it touch with feeling and emotions is very important and the way to express and manage them is a skill to be developed.Well i am talking from my expreience in the army where managing emotions is of paramount importance to be a good leader.
