I completely agree with Asha.There is a perfect sense of these sort of questions. There is something called as thinking process which varies from person to person. The types are:
1.Concrete Disjunctive
2.Concrete Conjunctive
3.Concrete Serial
4.Concrete Parallel
5.Symbolic Disjunctive
6. Symbolic Conjunctive
7. Symbolic Serial
8. Symbolic parallel
9. Absratct disjunctive
10. Abstract Conjunctive
11. Abstract Serial
12. Abstract Parallel
every level has a different meaning & the level of person' s capability can be judged by his thought process to some extent. When u speak about urself, HRs are not interested about what you are speaking but how you are connecting those thoughts. How well u can summarize ur life i a coupe of mins & this may help to determine the startegic or generalized levels of the individual which may help for further process.
More over the question is asked because you are the person who can answer it best comfortably & why not to make the candidate comfortable with first question itself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with such questions.

I think ravi is omitting all his poison let him do watever he wants.
am very much sure he is not able to talk properly during the interview that's y he is putting this in writting.
ravi is not eligible as a professional becoz if he has so much value for time he will not waste his time in such contradictions........people those who have much time they can talk only negetive....craetive people are always reamain positive......Mr.Ravi If you ans this q wat is it that u r going to loose..........infact it u ddnt ans u will lose job.......& involve in such dialemna

yes you cant expect readymade answers because it is all a mystery.. just believe in your intuitions and recruit the person,, dont think you are god and by asking TMAYS,, u can select the right candidate.,, so next time i see a HR asking TMAYS I gonna advise him to visit this thread.
