Satyam is just the tip of the ice berg. There are many Organisations both public and private which make efforts to survive to day with a hope to succeed tomorrow.
May be with or without greed, with or without malafide intentions and deeds but only to see that the organisation goes on as far as and long as possible with a hope and prayer that something, someday gives it what is needed to set things right. There are thousands of bosses who know this accross all sectors, Govt/Public/Private. God help them.
I dont blame Mr Raju but what a tragedy that we hear so much about such a successful man he has been since the 1980s - what he tried was to give as much as he could to as many as possible - self, family, employees, stake holders, charities and what not and above all ensure survival of his company and also his family. He might have hung on but for the sudden global financial crises. If this crises weren't there, who knows none of us might have ever known all this.
May be somebody else might have let it go on and offered excuses when caught; in that respect we should appreciate that he let the cat out of the bag in a safe way for a majority of the stake holders, if not all.
