You have to fill up Form No 2 in triplicate with appropriate court fee stamp and submit the same to Industrial Safety & Health Deptt. In the said form you can put the new name of Occupier.

Dear sir,
I am running a factory in navimumbai M.I.D.C with 5 workers having required power of 25 hp and having all the clearence license from pollution board,lube license and permanentSSI and other reqd licenses.I even have shops & est license.
Now a govt dept is asking for FACTORY LICENSE. Pls advise what is factory license and wether we are coming under the factory act?.

Hi,
Since you are asking specifically about the change of OCCUPIER, you have to submit a letter mentioning about the change of Occupier along with the memorandum of association or articles of association of the company wherein the the change of occupier would have been effected by a special resolution passed by the board of directors.
Mr. vinayak suggestion will be applicable only for Change of managers.

Dear Mr. Arun,
For the change of the Occupier or Manager you have to submit in Form 2A in triplicate to the Dy.Chief Inspector of Factories with the Board resolution copy stating that Mr.......is appointed as the Occupier or Manager as per the Factories Act concern. On that form one side out going person and oneside new appointee should singn. For this the Factories Department may ask for certain fees which will be paid through govt.challan mode.

it is to be submitted within 7 days of change along with the List of directors and their residential address and Copy of Board resolution to the Dy, Chief Inspector of factories.
Even i am looking for the soft copy of form 2A. Pls help
