Dear Sir/Madam,
I am confused on how to make an Induction Programme for different levels.
I work in an Automotive, Aerospace Engineering Services Company and I have to design an Induction Programme for 5 levels, they are:
Operational Band
Managerial Band
Departmental Head Band
Executive Band
Startegic Band
Please help me if it is possible.
Thanks and Regards

Dear Charu,
In my opinion, induction should not be different for different levels. A general induction program can be prepared for all the emplloyees where we can tell them about the comany, vision, mission, core values, HR policies and any other policy which is applied to all the employees.
Then the employee goes to the department for which s/he has been hired and gets trained in the core job areas there. This should be done by the respective department.

Dear Byomjeet Sir,
Actually I have been asked to prepare an induction programme for different levels, like if an strategic band person is entering my organisation, his induction will not be same as the trainees or graduate engineers induction.
Therefore, i Have to design the induction progarmme in such a way that it will be interesting for each level / bands.
About the comany, vision, mission, core values, HR policies, etc will be common for all, what about other things, How can i customize as per the levels?
Like there is no point in telling a GET about the details of mergers and acquisitions, but the same is important for a strtegic level person.
Kindly help me

Dear Charu,
I do agree that you need to have customised Induction as per the Job Bands. I think you are required to meet the senior person in the each band and understand what is their requirement if they want to know as a new joinee. Then take inputs from them, try to address their requirement. Anyway patrial induction would be common for all, the remaining part you need to customise as per the Target Attendees of Induction Programme.
Regards,
Jyoti
