1. Stages or situations in which an employee requires counselling.
2. Essential competencies required to carry out effective counselling.
3. Typical problems faced in the counselling process.
4. Any critical incidents that define the usefulness of counselling.

1. Stages or situations- when the employee's superior officer makes a bad report or adverse comment on his performance.
2. Competencies:- Sympathy & an excellent listening skills. Very good understanding the systems & people manning them.
3. Problems faced : - After counselling people don't change.
4. Can;t think of one at this time.
