Hi
I am in US and doing a course in HR laws.In US there are many employment laws like EEO,Affirmative action etc. I would like to know how Indian labor laws incorporate issues regarding equal employment, disability discrimination etc.Are there any specific acts for equal employment?
I would also like to know how companies ,especially private limited companies, handle the issues like equal employment, harasssment, disability discrimination etc.

I think ur from Kerala. despite indian, u r asking such question. u should know indian culture.
Any way, in India, no any such laws except " The Equal Remuneration Act, 1973"(for woman) and " The Employment Exchanges ( Compulsory Notification of Vaccancies) Act, 1959.
In political game is RESERVATION. Through this country is trying to give equal opportunity to all backward sections.
