U really made me think what i want to study in attrition ,now picture is quite clear . I want to calculate what is the rate OF ATTRITION IN MY COMPANY and causes for it ,also i want to give recommadations to fight attrition.Im thinking to take exit interviews of employees who have already left . please guide me .

I am glad that my post was of some use to u.
Exit interviews just can give u the causes of attrition only. U cannot measure the rate with that data. Moreso, the information procured from exit interivews is hazy sometimes. There are some time tested formulas to calculate employee attrition.

ur right that exit interviews will giveme causes to find rate of attrition i to calculate rate of atrition fi have 4 months data of resignations and total no of employees inthat period .
is theres anypositive side of attrition ?

well, i am Ritu ,student MBA -hr. i am currently doing my interns in Bangalore for a MNC in IT industry.A :idea: long with my main project i have got a mini project wherein i have to collect info (secondary info ) on employee retention and attrition control.

Hi,
Even i am doing a project on attrition analysis. Almost completed in calculating attrition rate of my company & across various sub-units. Also, with the help of Exit- Interviews i have come out with the main reasons for Attrition across the units & band wise reasons also.
Please if you can guide me as to how to go about making the report. Please do guide me as to how go about maikng the report. Also, since i have drilled down the exit interview data, so there are different reasons for various bands etc. Thus, i also need help as to how should i make recommendations for the same.
