My daughter who is staying in US wants to rent her flat. She cannot come down to India just for signing lease deed. Tenant is in India and the flat proposed to be rented is in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Could my friends, send me a draft copy of lease deed / rent agreement viable in such conditions.
Is it legal to sign the document(s) sitting in US for my daughter. How much amount stamp paper is to be used? I request only the format which is needed keeping my daughter safe property wise. Balance data / format I could get from this website.
Can we type the document here and send the same for my daughter to sign across country and get the back here and then get the signature of the new tenant? IS it valid? What address do we have to mention in the agreement?
Many thanks in advance for the kind suggestions / advice.

Hi
Please consult a local advocate
But I will give you one clue Legally, both parties to any agreement must sign them in India . Embassies are considered part of the concerned countries. If you want to be perfect, then your advocate may suggest signing the document in Indian Embassy at US
But, for a flat lease, I dont think you should strain yourself so much

1.For lease deed you just clear if your daughter is out of india so better you can take the power of attorney for take care the propoerty.
2. if you want lease deed for 11 months so no need to registration you can do only notarised the lease deed.
3.if you want more than 12 months then you must registered the lease deed.
