My sister's divorce case in ongoing in family court. My brother in law filed the 156(3) case against my whole family in July 2023. But it was rejected by magistrate in August 2024 and converted to private complaint by mentioning that it is matrimonial dispute. Unfortunately, I was not aware of those false accusation and I started searching for new job. Recently the background verification agency (Sterling) asked me if I can identify few names from my family. In that Email, it was mentioned as criminal record. After that I searched on ecourt and come to know about all of these shit...!!!!
Could you please help me on following questions:
1. I am really not aware of that 156(3) application against me. Because that is still required just complainants investigation and I never received any summons for that. Shall I clarify like this to my future employer?
2. Does matrimonial dispute of my sister will affect my BGV?
Please give me suggestions about next steps
The case is still open and under section 200, they are still validating complianant. It may discmissed in upcoming months, because I never did any crime.

Dear Professional
Greetings
The sections you have mentioned here both 156(3) and 200 crpc comes under the power of magestriate to order for enquiry based on the written complaint recieved from the complaintant in written format .
So regarding your issue if you need clear solution and further steps to be followed , first we should know the nature of complaint , second how your name is involved in such complaint
what are the parameters the complaintant has mentioned your name on ?
if you can provide the above details Can help you legally and officially so that your career is not spoiled at any point of time.
