Greetings!!

Please help me with understanding on ESCI wages /Maternity benefits.

Case:

If employee is on maternity leave and going to apply ESIC benefits once she completes the maternity leave to get ESIC wages. however, in between her leave period, her salary got increased & ESIC limit crossed to Gross salary of Rs.21,000/-

Maternity leave: 1st June 23 to 31st Dec-23
ESIC contribution will be paid till 30th Sept-23.

Is employee eligible to get the wages from ESIC for the period of 1st Oct-23 to 31st Dec-23 or it has to be paid from employer side, please confirm?

She will get the benefits because her maternity benefit from the ESIC itself because her benefit period corresponding to her contribution period of April 23- Sept 23 will extend till next June.
