We manufacture fibre parts and these parts are of different sizes based upon customers.
And we do not have repeated orders for the same parts products. We would like to introduce production-linked incentives for workers.
Can you please let me know how to introduce production-linked incentives for workers?

From India, Ahmedabad
When you have no repeated orders in hand, why should you move for production incentive? If you have an order to be delivered now, make a scheme applicable for this instant order only. Once the order is accomplish the incentive will also come to an end. That would satisfy the workers also.
From India, Kannur
Production linked incentive is required for those organizations where the work load is maximum. There should be time study and motion study by experts to determine the standard time to produce one product or batch product. There is one more factor is quality. More speed of production may cause more rejection and chances of unsafe condition.

Therefore, the production incentive should be linked to rejection % to avoid more rejection. Safety related issues should be dealt separately.
