I have joined EPF Organisation at my age of 49th Year and hence not completing 10Years mandatory EPF Service to get pension. But my company has extended my service by 2 years i.e. upto 60 Years, with the same service conditions as Employee, with which the total EPF subscription period works out to 11 Years. . But my EPF pass book shows that EPS amount of 1250/- is stopped from the date of my completing 58 Years of age. Now my doubt is : Am I not eligible for Pension with my extended service? If yes, what kind of action I have to take to get that pension?

Hi,

As per the EPF scheme, an employee shall cease to be the member of EPS from the date of attaining 58 years of age. Before attaining the age of 58 years if you had contributed to PF/ EPS for minimum 10 years then you are eligible for Pension.
