All forms of remuneration will come under compensation and benefits. Not only Salaries and bonus but whatever you pay to your employees directly or indirectly will come under compensation and benefits. Medical facilities, doctor on call, recreational facilities, food at concessional rates, cooperative societies etc are the 'benefits' indirectly given to the workers.
