Hello all,
I am an intern working for a company DeFacto infotech, they hired through campus on the terms that they will provide 6 month training and then they will take an assessment to finalize the package and the there is a bond from the time of joining for 3years. In case I leave they mentioned a training cost of 4lakh which I have to pay. Now after completing 6 months they were not finalizing and taking assessment due to which I raised this concern in a meeting along other trainees with the CEO that why it's getting delayed. because of this question the CEO got angry and started using defaming me that u are useless guy and many more thing because I asked this question to him. later he kept on saying these things during whole meeting and i objected to it saying if u feel I am useless then I don't want to work with this company. Then we told mw to get out of the meeting. For this meeting we have a official recording also. Then on the same day at night I got a mail from HR that u r suspended till further notice because of the confrontation and rude behavior. It's almost 2 weeks now and I have not got any further notice to rejoin. Also the salary they paid me as that of intern payscale but for other colleagues they have done a one time payment for last month based on average salary that will be paid on finalization after having assessment.- Please suggest what should I do in this case. Should I send a legal notice to company asking the reason for suspension as it was done just because asking I asked a question which irritated the CEO and later I objected him to defame me??
Please suggest what's the way-out and the legality of the bond that they got signed from us before training? I just don't want to work for this company now as I know he will keep me targeting till i complete my bond in case I decided to work there.

It looks like the organisation is playing games with you, 'who blinks first'. They want you to submit resignation and they will accept and insist on the bond money.
So, it is better to wait for some time till the organisation decides. At any rate they have decided your fate by suspending you and as you are anticipating the further days here will be tougher and tougher. When you feel appropriate you can talk to HR on the separation process
I hope your original testimonials are not with them. If any BGV comes to them, you may not get favourable review.

Hello KK,
Thankyou for the response. I would like to ask one more thing regarding the reply of the mail that they have sent for suspension. Should I not reply them countering the allegations they made that I dont agree with the allegations on which they suspended me?
I got this suspension without any disciplinary enquiry report. So is this valid to suspend without any enquiry or report on the basis of there understanding that I was misbehaving?

Yes, you should strongly refute the allegations and stoutly defend your position. You should particularly highlight the fact that till the unfortunate incident nothing adverse was pointed out to you and suddenly after you sought information you became useless. You also indicate that you were interested to serve the organisation for long.
Let us wait and see the response, but don't volunteer to quit.

Hello KK,
I want your advice what to do next as it's almost a month and I don't have any response from the company as the CEO is outside country and HR is saying that he cant do anything in this case and when CEO will come he only can decide. What to do next ? Should I go for legal notice or I can drop a resignation if so will I be able to bypass this bond amount stating the wrong suspension and no response even after a month? Your advice will be really apprecciated.
