Hello all, Please guide me on what would be the best career option after a career gap in the profession in HR. How to restart again. Need valuable comments.

Dear Sonali,
You have mentioned about the career gap but not mentioned how many years of gap it was. Neither you have mentioned what is your qualification.
As far as continuing professional activities are concerned, you may or may not continue in HR. Just because you have the qualification and a few years of experience in HR need not mean you should pursue a career in HR only. Career options are available in newer fields like Data Science. You may avail of those.
In addition to soft skills, I also conduct training programmes in the field of Supply Chain. Naturally, the participants were from the Purchase Department. However, I found that though they worked in the Purchase department, they were MBA in HR.
Today, it does not matter what qualification one has but jobs are offered depending on whether a person can deliver or not. Therefore, opportunities are aplenty. The choice is yours!
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
