Dear Sirs,
I want to know the rate of stamp duty applicable in Delhi for registration of Relinquishment deed.
Deed is relevent to immoveable property and total relinquishers are 5 who want to relinquish their rights to one co.owner (all are family members) and without any consideration as per family settlement.
I have consulted so many people and they gives different openions.
Please any body help me.

In the Legal referencer for 2006 for release it is noted as Rs 100/- in all other cases where the claim is above Rs 1000/- Show the Draft Relese Deed to the Registering Officer and get his clearance before Registering. That is the best when you have too many views including mine.
