Hi, One of my known has not gone to his company due to some personal reason from Apr-01 till May-31 without any information so the company has counted his absent as NCP days in PF afterwards he send resign dated- 20th May submitted on 5th June. Now he wants to mark the date of Exit - so which date he has marked as date of Exit in PF (5th June, 20th May or 31st May)
From India, Noida
The date on which he was relieved from service by the company should be the exit date in the PF. If the company has not marked exit, the member himself can mark exit by visiting his portal. Only thing to be noted is that the date of joining the new company should not be earlier than the date of exit from the previous company. If he has not joined ny company the date of exit is irrelevant. As such, you can put even 5th June.

Amit - Date of Relieving or Exit should always be calculated as per the resignation date. Please include the notice period to be served by the employee in this.
The date of receipt of resignation is 05-June-2020. Please calculated notice period from this date. Also, please check with the exited employee - if he/ she has taken up any dual employment. If a company has not relieved an employee legally - then it is illegal to join another organization.
If you have already relieved the employee - then also - the DOE should be marked by you as 05-June-2020. It is the responsibility of the organization to facilitate marking of DOE on UAN Portal.
