Dear Friends, I want to send notification to our staff who uses sandals/shoes which makes noise while walking and distract others. I want to advice not to wear such sandals/shoes.

Dear Mehta Equities,
How big is your office? How many persons are employed in your office? How frequently staff are required to make movements inside the office?
The notice that you would like to issue is little uncanny. A lot of women staff prefer wearing high-heeled footwear. Footwear of this type makes a noise. Above all, not all the staff can have footwear that can have rubber soles. Going further, much depends on a person's walking style also. What if someone has habit of stomping?
In many offices, the tables have wooden or iron bars fitted as horizontal support. A few staff have a tendency to rub the soles of their footwear and make noise. Should we issue notice for this noise also?
You may issue such notice however, I feel that you might have to face resistance from the staff members. In addition to issuing notice, explore possibility of providing the staff with the office shoes that have rubber soles. The second solution is to lay a carpet that absorbs the noise.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
