Hi sir, I am radhey shyam working with Garments Industry. Sir is it mandatory to give national holiday to piece rate employee. While no employee come to the factory on national holiday. Please advise

Garments Industry generally covered under Factories Act. If 10 or more workmen is working with the aid of power (for tailoring machine) and producing garments, then it is covered under Factories Act. National and Festival holidays as approved by the Inspector of Factories have to be complied.
