We, as HR Professional, need to understand that Follow-Up should not be considered as Desperation.
It is the right of candidate to know about the outcome of the interview.
On this weekend, I meet with couple of my old colleagues and somehow this discussion pop-up.
My point is, if you are calling a candidate for F2F interview, then it is your responsibility to inform him about the outcome. What is the point in not sharing the feedback? It can be assumed that it is not possible to respond on every single email which you received, but if you are calling someone for Personal Interview then it is your responsibility.
Worst part is, when candidate follow-up for the feedback then it is considered as Desperation. We are in the era of AI and ML, Organization's are using automation tools and still we, as HR, not able to come-out from this culture.
Please start respecting the candidate, their time and efforts - which they put to make them self present in your company.
Anything which I have missed? If you are not agree then feel free to share your thoughts.
