I was offered a job from Medtronic's but before sharing the offer letter, they asked to join after 45 days or they will revoke the offer letter. They were ready for buyout for 45 days.
My company's notice period is 90 days and I told the company that I have to put a joining date after 90 days being the official notice period of 90 days. They told me they will release the offer only if I joined after 45 days or they will revoke the offer. As if I was not sure whether my manager will release me within 45 days, I declined the proposal as they never mentioned 45 days joining clause but j told them regarding 3 month's notice period but negotiable depending on the manager.
Did I do the right thing declining their proposal.
