Good Morning Everyone.
I am just trying to understand psychology or what other HRs think about this. We are IT company based in Gujarat.
There are different type of people in the company,
1. Most obedient and Dedicated, Honest
2. Irresponsible Employees.
3. Senior Employee - Having tons of Attitude
4. Never Discipline to Company Policy
5. Need to Spoon Feeding everytime before the work gets done.
Please share your views how you treat and have to be treated on these types of employees.

Dear friend,
You have given a list of the employees who have a different psychological bearing. This diversity is bound to be a feature of every organisation. However, the challenge is how to select persons with overall the same mindset.
Of the list that you have provided, some of the challenges can be overcome with the right recruitment. If you have devised a proper recruitment procedure then it is possible to find out is the job candidate irresponsible or whether he/she requires spoonfeeding.
In addition to recruitment, you need to conduct the train the employees on organisation values as well as the culture of the company. But then before conducting the training, the organisation has to define the values and the culture and must take steps to promote those values or culture. Most of the time, this job is done right during the induction training itself.
The third thing is about having a vision and mission statement. Top leadership must ask continually are their actions or decisions consistent with the vision and mission of the organisation.
In addition to all the above, the top leadership must encourage upward communication in general. Some of the problems that you have cited can be attributed to the lack of feedback from the juniors. If you devise a proper mechanism for the upward communication then management gets insight on what's happening in the company.
Thanks,

Were the "different type of people in the company".. as described by you, the same What they Are,?
If Not, then begin by Teaching them New Behavious- the Workplace Behaviour Worthy of Employment/ Workplace. Include Training Sessions on Workplace Discipline, the Miminum Dos & Dont's as Codified in your Estblishments' Service Rules and a Clear-cut Knindly-given Advice/Reminder that For Any Act Unworthy of Employment, the Disciplinary Action-Steps
shall be taken, Uniformly, Properly Fairy & Faithfully. TheSample Acts narrated by you in your Post amount to "injustice" to the Employer.

Dear colleague,
I don't believe that employees can be typified in such straight jacketed way as you have done. At best , they are behaviors displayed by some employees some time or the other. Obviously these acts cannot be dealt with in 'one size fits all' manner. In HR, it is well known adage which says that
'different strokes for different folks'.

For making them responsible...
Make a whats App group and give them responsibility on it and take a proper follow up on regular basis..
your employees will start work in positive manner..
Appreciate them on group and tell them to maintain the decorum of this group..
make a policy of time management ...
you will see that things are changing day by day positively...
With best wishes,

To make the responsible employees, I am planning to introduce set of policies and actions if not followed.
If it is list of 10-20 policies/disciplines and actions, do you think it is normal in any Company.
Will it create positive or negative impact on the company?

Dear friend,
Yes, the introduction of the policies is an important step in running the company's administration smoothly. However, what matters to be seen is whether the policies help in maintaining a certain type of culture. As written in my previous post, you may have a focus on building a specific organisation culture. Otherwise, your efforts of the introduction of the policies may go in vain.
Take the case of "Mumbai Dabbawala". Do they have well-documented policies? The simple reply is no. Yet they have achieved world-class excellence of their operations and even six sigma is inadequate to measure their performance. Why they could do this? They could do this because they inducted only those persons who were amenable to their culture. Secondly, they have been following certain values diligently.

I will add my two cents to the interesting views expressed by my fellow professionals. Please remember my friend that each human being is moulded differently during the formative years. Take the example of your own siblings ! Are they not different or all behave and interact in the same way like your father or mother, just listen and obey them without giving out their view points, their choices, their preferences ?... Your own siblings are different from one another.
still, all of them are still called family members only ? One more line of argument. Suppose in a particular team, you expect all staff members to be sweet & nice and obey what the management directs without seeking clarifications, or protesting against a particular policy . How long will it go on ? You will then require only goats and cows instead of employees ! Please remember, only in conflict, you get new ideas from differing views. Only by people protesting against a particular policy, new solutions come up. If all have to behave in a particular way, you can appoint robots using your own technology ! Employees need not use their brain, if they have to simply listen to the bosses and obey their command. Solution lies in accepting such challenges and as my learned friend Mr. Divekar mentioned above, train the people to sink their differences amongst them, teach and train them on company's vision, mission and values so that, while at work, let them focus more on work on hand, and let them have their different mindsets when they check out for the day. Best wishes

Dear Friend,
the answer to your question lies in your question only, there are different types of employees in your organization, then you have to be strategic HR, i.e you have to deal with them according to their mindset and behavior, age, because you can not treat all by one stick.
also, you will have to do a strong bonding with the leadership team and make them aware about such behavior so that if in future you take any strict action they don't be their side (follow Modi rules- he first made strong bonding with most of the countries and then he separated Pakistan, so that no other country can make and objection)
you make them follow the policy and practices and if they don't follow or behave differently take some actions on one of them, rest all will follow
