Dear Lalitha,
If you are going to join as "Senior Manager - HR" then on the very first day, why would you like to give presentation? You need to understand system and process of each department. For this rather than giving presentation, I recommend you taking notes and understand as much as possible. Please remember the famous proverb that Stephen Covey has propounded - first understand and then be understood.
There is a risk in giving presentation right on the first day. While you may would like to bring good amount of changes but what if the staff are not ready to accept those changes?
Lastly, as an HR, you need to understand the culture of the company. You need to understand "over here what is important or what is valued most" or who calls the shots or who are intransigent.
Thanks,

What learned member Shri Dinesh has written is valid.
Report to the company and after meeting all concerned officials of your department and your HOD, you can move around meeting other HODs.
Make yourself fully familiar with the company offices and other facilities etc.
Spend first few days getting to understand HR policies adopted and other relevant matters.
Once settled then you can start working and make a positive contribution to the orgabnisation.

Dear madam,
You can make some meaningful presentation only when you have thoroughly understood the organization- its business, departmental functioning, key people and their job, current HR policies and procedures, performance expectations and the gaps , compensation structure, employee expectations and host of such vital aspects which have bearing on your job.
The correct understanding will lead you towards areas of priority where you can add value.
Once you have crystalized your thoughts on what contribution you can make and your time bound plan for it, then prepare the presentation to the Sr Management Team which will carry lot of substance instead of attempting to do it on very first day of joining.

Agriculture workers in Canada are in demand due to a short supply of workers in the workforce, a new study by the Canadian Agricultural Human Resource Council (CAHRC) has found.
It found that the current gap between labour demand and the domestic workforce is 59,000 in the industry.
Furthermore, projections suggest that the Canadian agri-workforce could be short workers for 114,000 jobs by 2025.
In response, the Canadian agriculture industry has been encouraging young people and workers from other sectors around the world to get into agriculture as a career.
According to the CAHRC, labour shortages create risks to farmers who can only hope they will have the same or greater access to both domestic and foreign workers in the future as they do now.CAHRC are in proper arrangement and support of group workers Visas, tickets and living quarters, interested group applicants workforce should contact us with their group batch lists and Resume's by email at:
