Dear Senior Sir,
Greeting of the day.
I have one query related to bill generation of contract labour if we have call to labour for work on nation holidays in this case labour EPF amount will be deducted or not for same day and what is to be working day if 4 weekly off and One national holidays.
Please share calculation formula for same.

4 National holidays are to be considered as 'Paid holidays' . Likewise weekly off + National holiday are also paid holidays, irrespective of no.of days. As every employee is entitled to paid national holidays & weekly off they have to be paid full salary. PF deduction doesn't relates to No.of working days but on the salary paid every month. Therefore when employees are called to work on National Holiday & Weekly holidays they are entitled to Holiday salary at the rates permissible. PF deduction also has to be made on the holiday salary paid thus.
