I worked in Retainer ship engagement for a company long back but they did not provide any payslips but provided TDS certificates. Now my future employer is asking for all previous employers documents including payslips. Can I ask my old employer payslips for whom I worked as direct contractor? If they cannot give would bank statement suffice?
