In Maharashtra, under the mandatory payment to employee/worker, for consideration of minimum wage Basic and special allowance shall be considered along with 5% of basic towards HRA. Rest of the component are out of the minimum wage preview.
The rates of this are revised on time to time by governement.

Every where the total pay package under the MW Act,1948 periodically changes because of the introduction of the component of variable D.A linked to some Cost of Living Index.
Therefore, you also have to revise your industry pay package accordingly in order to ensure and maintain the parity between the two at all times.
