Employee Engagement is a two way commitment and communication between an organization and its employees and is based on trust and integrity.
It is an approach that increases the chances of business success, contributing to organizational and individual performance, productivity and well-being. It can be nurtured and dramatically increased; it can be lost and thrown away.
Employee engagement gives a belief to every individual employee to get up in the morning thinking, “Great, I’m going to work. I know what I’m going to do today. I’ve got some great ideas about how to do it really well. I’m looking forward to seeing the team and helping them work well today”.
While browsing through internet I got a wonderful article related to Employee Engagement, which I converted into presentation for you all. Hope this may be helpful.

Dear Supriya,
Gone through the presentation on employee engagement. Since the last couple of years, employee engagement is a buzzword that has gained momentum in the HR fraternity.
The ten steps that you have given does not mention about conducting games in the office. This forum is replete with queries on office game in order to improve the employee engagement. Do the games really improve the employee engagement? The question could have answered.
In all the slides, you have written that the source of your information as "Internet". This is vague. You could inserted the link of your source.
Above all, the presentation does not talk about how to measure the Employee Engagement. Theory of HR Analytics depends on the results of outcome of employee engagement. Therefore, measurement of EE activities is important. Does increased engagement, translates into higher business results? There is no mention about it! You have given views of HR on EE but what about industry owners? Do they believe in this HR jargon? Will they increase HR budget to improve EE? These questions are unanswered.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
