One employee was on maternity leave from 01-04-2017 to 14-11-2017. Company announced increment in Oct-2017 wef 01-04-2017. In this situation the employee can be eligible to get increment during the period of maternity leave?

Being on Maternity leave does not make her ineligible for increment. She must get her increment on due date but as I a understand financial benefits will be after she joins back on duty.
