If we include incentives in total CTC, will TDS be calculated upon including incentive amount?


Dear All, I am working as an HR and recently joined a Sales company. I would like to know that if Incentives on sales are taxable? And if we include incentives in total CTC, will TDS be calculated upon including incentive amount?

Dear Ria, Yes, incentive on sales is taxable. If you’re adding incentive in total ctc of employee then also you’ve to deduct tax on that (if applicable). Regards, Manish
