I would like to apply for more numbers of government job notification exam and notification says that I have to produce an N.O.C at time of certificate verification if employed in govt/psu.
1) can I get N.O.C from present employer for applying job exam.
2) and we are not sure of getting job as it involves exam marks+interview marks+community roster etc hence I want to continue to apply for govt job without risk of losing present job for issue of N.O.C

Dear Friend,
When you are applying the application itself have a clause stating no objection certificate need be attached, at present you have to inform the present employee about your willingness to apply to another job. There is nothing to be afraid, as it is your wish to apply to an another job. In general no objection certificate will be considered for the job applying to the higher post when you want to apply to the lower category there will be hesitation and restraint, however, they may not deny, yet it may time consuming in retaining you.
In some applications you have to inform the higher official the authority who is having the delegated power to give relief to you services on applying and in these cases there is clear relief and they will give you no objection certificate without fail.
In some cases, you have to pay three months salary or training expenses incurred on you for giving training, in that cases you have to pay and get relief immediately.
You have every right to apply for a job better than present cadre..
Best of luck....
