Hi Team
I need your guidance for my career growth . I have completed my MBA 6 year back from distance learning programme , currently working in Taxation Firm as a HR ,
But I am not satisfied with my career , Kindly suggest me something for upgradation in my degree.
Some friends of mine suggested me the LLB Course and I am looking forward for Diploma in Industrial and Law Labour .
Doing LLB or something else will be right decision , Or there is some other courses which will add some weightage in my career , Being DLP MBA graduate not helping me to grabbing good opportunity .

Dear Shefali,
Your career aspirations are laudable. After doing MBA through distance learning, you wanted to pursue additional course to advance your career. Your post shows your career-consciousness. Keep it up!
If you are already working in HR in the taxation firm then overall you are expected to know the basics of HR. At this stage, rather than acquiring certification of this or that course, you need make choose a job where you can learn practical aspects of HR.
The essence of HR lies in improving human productivity. It can be done even without doing further courses. Just go through your study material once again and find out what is the scope of implementing the knowledge that you had gained in your course. What is the use of accumulation of knowledge if you do not implement it?
Whether lawyer's firm or otherwise, your challenge will remain about increasing human productivity. Make action plan and get it vetted by some senior HR. While implementing this plan, you will learn lot and it will be far better than any certification course.
All the best!

Dear Ms Shefali,
HR is a vital field. Knowledge of various acts related to IR, Compliances, factory, establishment, labour etc will sure value added in enhancing your capability in HR role. However, if you are not happy with the current job, you may go for whatever make you feel happy with eternal peace. LLB is good option, you can continue in same field and if you are more passionate then go for practice where you can do a lot for social cause.
