How do we calculate PF for employees. is there any minimum and maximum limit for calculation. Is PF must for all employees. How much should employer contribute.

- PF is a must for employees, it's a government policy.
- Basically the employer contributes 12% of your basic, and you have to contribute 12%
- From employer side, as far as I know, it is just 12%; but you can contribute more than 12% under the name of VPF.

PF Applicability
- Mandatory for Employees drawing a salary ( Basic+ DA ) less than equal to 15000/-
- Employees drawing a salary ( Basic + DA ) equal to or more than 15000/- , for them PF is optional
