Please let us know if self and spouse is falling under ESI Act, Is it required to deduct from both or either one. In our case spouse is working with another organization.

Yes, you both will be separate Insured Persons. The dependents of both can be different & they too get benefit.

Hi, As said by Mr. Shrikant both will have to contribute to the ESIC as only defendants are covered under ESIC and as in your case both are independently working thus no one is is dependent on other.
