Hello All,
I need some professional support. I work as a Human Resources Analyst at a donor-funded management consulting firm, and I have been asked to draw up a HR strategic plan and a 2-year staffing plan. However, I am clueless about this as I have not done anything like this before. Does anyone have tips or recommendations on how to go about this, or templates that they\'re willing share?

Dear Esotubo,

Your strategic HR plan should be offshoot of your company's strategic plan. Therefore, the question arises is that has your company made the strategic plan? If yes, to design it what tools were used? What are your company's weaknesses as far as human resources are concerned?

As far as staffing plan is concerned, you may first find out what is your manpower requirement, what type of manpower is required, when it is required, what should be their qualification and other skill sets and above all where you will get these people.

To attract better manpower, how will you do employer branding? Who will be involved in that how will it be done?

Strategic HR is quite comprehensive. Nevertheless, if you want any consulting on strategic HR or business strategy itself, feel free to contact me.

Thanks,

Thank you Dinesh. This is quite helpful. I guess I have some homework to do.
